4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT water fetch toy!
Our five month old Labrador puppy is a great swimmer, but she will only go in to fetch her Wet Wubba; tennis balls just don't do it for her. I'm not sure if it's the fact that it's bigger or if it's the tails, but she goes nuts for it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great toy, but not all that durable
Our four cocker spaniels love these toys, and they're a great concept, but they're not all that durable. A single dog gnawed off one of the "arms" in just a few hours. We don't expect such toys to stand up to rough play with multiple dogs, but for a single dog to do such damage so quickly was disappointing. The wubbas fare better in the water, where it is more difficult...

Caveat: This is NOT a chew toy. It says this quite clearly on the package, but for some reason people insist on giving it to their dogs to chew and then being shocked when the fabric comes off. It is for water fetch ONLY. We've used it in the park as well, but the material gets filthy very very quickly and doesn't clean off until you use it in the water a few times. And while the regular wubba is good for playing tug, the wet one has proved too easy to tear. So stay within the parameters, and you'll have a great toy.

I'd also recommend buying one at a real pet store, as you can't choose the color on amazon (silly).

3.0 out of 5 stars Great toy, but not all that durable, July 2, 2008
This review is from: KONG Wet Wubba Dog Toy, Large, Colors Vary (Misc.)
The wubbas fare better in the water, where it is more difficult for the dogs to damage them. If you are buying these wubbas for multiple dogs, we suggest the largest size so you get the longest "arms". We have the "large" size and would have gotten the extra large had we known, even for a single one of our cockers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for strong chewers, November 10, 2008
This review is from: KONG Wet Wubba Dog Toy, Large, Colors Vary (Misc.)
pet owners with strong chewers beware. My 16 pound one year old pup destroyed this toy in about 20 minutes. I had to throw away the pieces so he would not ingest them.

3.0 out of 5 stars read the fine print, December 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
while i overall like this product i admit my failure to read the fine print and was disappointed when i got a green instead of a vibrant orange kong. the green is not vibrant and would be hard to see in a lake or pond as was the intended purpose. as there is no option to pick your color i will be returning it and purchasing one elsewhere. sadly disappointed

1.0 out of 5 stars This is NOT a Kong wrapped in fabric! It's a ripoff., October 22, 2011

This "Kong Wubba" toy is deceptively shaped the same as the iconic Kong rubber toys. It's NOT. It is two tennis balls, a large one and small one, wrapped in fabric. My greyhounds detached and destroyed the small balls within two hours. What a rip off.

2.0 out of 5 stars not very strong, September 16, 2011
This review is from: KONG Wet Wubba Dog Toy, Large, Colors Vary (Misc.)
I bought this at petsmart in hopes that my 1 year old american pitbull terrier mix would not devour it. I was let down. Shes only had it one day and its completely shredded. I thought because it was kong it would be more durable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great water toy, July 30, 2011

I purchased the smaller Kong Dog Wet Wubba toy, and our lab chewed through the cover immediately, and the top ball was gone in less than one hour as we were playing in the lake. Very dissappointed in the wear life of this product and would not buy it again. Poorly constructed, at least the smaller of the toys has no wear life.

My dock divers and swimming dogs love this toy. Highly visible, floats and easy to grab even for my little 25 pounder.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wubba, January 28, 2011

This is really a cool toy for dogs that like to fetch. Ordered it to throw in the snow. Dogs loved it. It is easy to see in the snow, unlike a ball that they would always lose. Great product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really good dog pool toy, September 19, 2010

Figure to get one good summer's worth of use out of the Kong Wet Wubba - - assuming your dog isn't a big chewer. They'll have a lot of fun with it while it lasts.
