I purchased the first Kong Cat Wubba Mouse from a retail store. (for my totally indoor cat) I had no idea it would become the favorite "prey" to be hauled around. I have since purchased this little toy for gifts and "insurance" in case the original mouse was lost. My only complaint is: the best one is the grey mouse, And, there is no choice in the matter when you order from Amazon. You get what you get. Octopus, rabbit, pink and blue. Totally recommend, but buyer should have a choice.

If you are owned by a cat (or several), this is a must-have item!! All of the Kong Wubba toys (Mouse, Duck, Rabbit) are excellent quality, stand up to the roughest of play, & are adorable to boot! The jingly ball inside the head combined with the long chewy legs will interest any cat! These are new favorites of all our sweet rescue cats, from 12 weeks old to 18 years old!! They are perfect for dragging, kicking, chewing, & even cuddling with at nap time! Highly recommend you put this on your "must have" list for your kitty!

Previous good reviews for variations of this Kong toy were not exagerations, my cats LOVE this toy!! I've rescued and fostered many feral cats and currently have 6 under my roof; they love this toy and back when I had a dozen cats, I had to purchase several of these to keep everyone happy. I will not hesitate to buy more of these in the future; they make great stocking stuffers for pets (there is a verson for dogs).

My little stinker, Maddex, loves his Kong Wubba mouse. He's even started bringing it to bed and sleeping with it!

My cats go nuts for these guys. I don't know if it's the bells, or the lots of wiggly legs, but it's one of the few toys that they actually use. And since there's no stuffing in them, they're safe for those destructive cats who rip out and eat stuffing from toys. I still have the original one I bought two years ago, and it's still going strong. I love that the heads are just big enough that they don't easily slide under the couch/fridge/other hard to move furniture so I'm not constantly chasing them down. I don't particularly care about the color, and neither do the cats, and for the exceptional price they're awesome.

i know cats can be rough, and if they love the toy , by definition they should be "kangarooing" it (using the back legs to grab and scratch. However after 1 day , one ear was gone. my 7 week old kitten only played with it as long as her kitten attention span would allow (30 seconds) here and there. After a week, both ears are gone and there is crazy shedding of the main material. it comes out everywhere, and that can't be good to get in their mouths. I know its inexpensive and all that, but i was hoping this could be a well-loved toy. I honestly won't give it to her anymore with polyester batting coming out of the ears and fleece-y lint going in her mouth. why can't cat toys be made to the same standards as dog ones?! :( maybe the original Kong Wubba is more durable than this mouse version?

I thought this toy would be great for my kitten who loves chewing on a small stuffed alligator dog toy I have. Turns out the middle part is a hard ball inside with a jiggly bell ( I thought it was just stuffed). So it's not really what he likes to play with. The little crinkly legs have barely any crinkle to them, my cat didn't seem to notice it; I think if the legs were thicker the crinkle factor would be better. Plus it is a bit smaller than I thought it'd be over all.

Maybe if my cat liked catnip more, he would've played with it...he's not much of a fan right now...I'm assuming once he gets older his tastes will change so I'm keeping the toy to see.

Upon arrival, Miss Lucy (who loves toys, paper, etc., & is wild about catnip) looked at it & walked away. Obviously not enough catnip to evem emtice her for a qui9ck romp. I have attempted to peak her interest by shaking it so the legs wiggle, dragging it across the floor, puttimh catnip on it (that gets a tiny bit of interest - in the catnip). May be great for somebody else's cat - not mine.
