I use two of these docks. One on my desk at work and one at home on my nightstand. Nice way to charge and also be able to use the phone in handsfree mode without taking it off the charger. Like it at night as I can see the time easily without having to pick up the phone.

It's real basic, but i love it because:
1) it works without taking it out of the #!@$#!$ case 2) it has a headphone out in the back you can use to permanently hook to speakers, or the one on the iphone is also still accessable 3) The iPhone cable plugs into the back. The part you dock onto is an extension, and built into the unit. I've read some of the cheaper ones basically require to hold the thing in place everytime to do, but this one works like it should. 4) It's also pretty

Got this to use with the iphone 3gs works great. Only negative about it is for the price paid a cable should be provided. Other than that love it.
