KPT 6 includes: Equalizer which offers three robust sharpen filters to correct blurred images while maintaining a high level of image quality. It also adds creative effects to images by manipulating their frequency values. KPT Goo allows artists to "finger-paint" with images within Photoshop. The KPT Goo liquid distortion brushes can be used to manipulate high quality images for print, or quickly produce animation for the Web. KPT Projector includes a robust set of interactive perspective warp effects. With KPT Projector users can add 2D perspective distortions to an image, add 3D transformations, or create infinite planar tiling at any angle. KPT Gel transcends 2D imaging applications by delivering realistic 3D paint tools. Artists can now synthesize a wide spectrum of photo-realistic materials using environment mapping, accurate lighting, reflection, refraction, tinting, and transparency. KPT Materializer creates dynamic surface textures. Digital artists can import a bump map, scale it (with tiling), pan it, rotate it, and blur it; then apply it using an accurate lighting model, or "bend" the source image over the contours of the surface texture. KPT LensFlare creates realistic glows, halos, and lens reflections. Users can simulate the reflections of a bright light on a camera lens or the lens of your eye; or manipulate lens flare properties such as: glow, halo, streaks, and reflections. KPT Turbulence creates real-time 2D wave distortions by simply clicking on an image to produce distortion ripples with realistic fluid motion. Users can modify an image for print, or produce a short animation. KPT Reaction allows artists to create organic textures. The stripes and cells produced are oriented along the contours of the original image. The speed and direction of diffusion create a wide variety of textures. In addition, two additional bonus plug-ins originally developed by RAYflect will also be included in the KPT 6 package.
