Nite Ize KRL-03-02 KeyLit Key Holder with S-Biners & LED Light

I was very excited to have an integrated LED light with my keys, and this seemed like the perfect system for changing out keys when necessary. However, the carabiners are prone to open when you're pulling your keys out of your pocket, or will simply slip off during use. This key holder system has lost me my office key, my various bar code swipe fobs, and nearly lost me my car key (if I hadn't noticed it fall off). I really want to like this system, but the biners are cheap and the overall setup is just plain hokey. The light doesn't point in a good direction to be able to see locks and the multitude of carabiners causes keys to become tangled and get in the way of the light. In order to save my remaining keys, I've since gone back to my old key rack.

I have used the following products: Nite Ize KRK-03-01 KeyRack Key Holder with S-Biners Nite Ize KRB-03-01 S-Biner Key Rack and Bottle Opener, Black and Nite Ize KRS-03-11 Stainless Key Rack

All 3 of these items have had keys detach, and unfortunately, I lost a very important house key because of these carabiners, which are used on all of these keychain products.

This thing keeps my keys out of my pocket for comfort and quick use of my keyless entry to my car and by the time I'm to my door my key are in hand and ready to go in the ignition.
The light is perfect for times you're out late and coming home and you forgot to leave your front door light on. It's not as bright as a flashlight but it's still working after 2 years of use.
The large biner works very well with a bit of a hook on it so I can put it on the waist of whatever pants I'm wearing and they will not fall off. I think it's just as likely the belt loop on most pairs of pants will tear off before this will come loose. My keys have only ever taken a tumble once from someone jumping up into my arms.

Good quality (Sturdy clips, great design, bright light), works great, matches description and is the perfect size. I totally love this and would recommend to anyone. The only minor down side is that the light is hard to push, so if you only have one hand, it can be hard to push the light to on until you get the hang of it.

I was using this as my key chain and I had a lot of stuff on and it swayed back and forth when I was walking it was annoying. So recently I tried to put just keys on it. When I tried that, my key to my 2001 Chevy Venture would not fit because it has rubber around the key. Another thing is I had to buy a battery for it because it came with a dead battery because there was no pull tab for it so it must of turned on and died out. The light is very bright and is smart if you have it set to on and not press it again in 5 seconds it will turn off. If you press it twice within 5 seconds it will be on blink mode. It is made of metal and very strong but the S-Biners are plastic and and kinda weak, I could see "stretch marks" in them. There is room to put about 3 more S-biners on. This product did not work for me but it might work for you.

Ordered 2 of these units...both arrived with dead batteries. Cost me $8 each for new batteries, and when I complained to Amazon's c/s I received a refund grand total of $5, making these 2 lights cost $11 above and beyond what I had already paid for them. All this after waiting a month to receive them from backorder status.I've bought many, many items from Amazon and have always been satisfied with quality, price, and promptness but these lights failed ALL 3 of these tests MISERABLY!

This is a good idea for a key ring. That is why I bought it, but, it is too small. Most of us have than one key. If it were reworked it would be alot better.

Nice light and easy to remove keys from base. May be a little bulky for some but does the job well.
