I have kept my life in a positive mode, partially because of the knowledge I have listened to from KRS-ONE. I give my highest praise to the knowledge he has shared. In my life I have followed along to become a leader, a teacher, and I am on the way to Africa to share what I have learned. Hopefully, I will be able to share my music collection with the radio and tv stations in Namibia. Everyone on earth needs a copy of this, and other KRS-ONE cd's, in my opinion. In thanks, I put his name in my book "Knowledge For Tomorrow", and I plan to make-up some mini flyers to promote this new album too, in my local area. Wish I had some official stuff to give out.

KRS-ONE's message is still the same powerful one , those who got deep into KRS lyrical bombs will know what I'm talking about , like he say in the song " I Am There " " I Speak But Most Dont Get It , But The Few That Do Get It In They Minds , My Words Stay Embedded , And They're Blessed If They Dont Forget It " . So Yes , Im BLESSED.

The Album is very good. Keep Right was good as well but this one hits you from and at another level. Beats are smart and brandish. The lyrics as always are very innovative and moving. I had look up the reviews on some site and I just scratch my head say their are def not hip hop and I feel fortunate to be one of the few who really appreciates what he has accomplished and understands where he is coming from. I am def underground not main stream...

I pre-order a KRS cd as soon as I know it's dropping, NEVER a waste os $15 bucks, I make sure a true emCEE is supported by buying the disc....Though I'm waiting for another S.O.B.S show in NY (KRIS, TAKIN TOO LONG TO GET BACK HERE) But this cd is more food for hungry KRS fans, I eat it up and am pleased, HAVE mercy, MR PERCY ..... KNOCKS, and Bling BLUNG, is more advanced lyrically than anything in recent history ....... This cd strikes home as you see more poverty and the youths gaining a revolutionary attitude, though they need to just learn how to be activist in the community .... But this music is for the intelligent, not ignorant .... Damn, it's amazing what this brother has accomplished INDIE ... COP THIS, I can't wait for the LIVE SHOW !!!! And I hope the BDP REUNION CD IS A REALITY/and the KRS/MARLEY MARL cd IS A REALITY!! I'm staying tuned and hopin the SOBS SHOW IS SOON!!

19 years rappin and Knowledge reigns Supreme still is bringin it. One of his Best albums in a very long time. Beats are crazy and innovative, rhyme style is elevated to the legend we know, all in all Life is Old school 85, 95 dope for us rap crack heads. Pick it up for real!!!!Mic Q

Yes!!!!!!!! Kris is back with another dope release. There are some dope beats, stellar lyrics, and as always a message to free the mind of the masses. Those are the pluses of the album. My only gripe or downside would be some of the hooks on the songs are a little weak. but as always Krs's lyrics outshines everything on the album as well as outshines the majority of so called MC's (most confused) out today.

This Is the best in a minute from kris enjoyed keep right but this is kris back on the attack. You can not stop him and he will be heard so if you've been keeping up you might as well get this one because it is classical work from kris he keeps doing it.

When you buy a KRS One album, you pretty much know what you're going to get (I mean, come on, he's been doing this for 19 years). Basically this is more of the same from KRS; dope lyrics, tight beats, and versatile styles -- real hip hop. Whether Kris is tackling social ills, wrecking the mic, crushing pretenders, or just flexing mad styles, he does it in that trademark, uncanny KRS fashion. You simply can't get this kind of rhyming anywhere else. Kris Parker is the poster child for consistency in the rap game and this is just another strong album in the long line of albums he's already got on his resume.

There are one or two lackluster tracks on the album. Don't get me wrong, lyrically, the album is on point. When I say lackluster, I'm talking about the production. Now that I've cleared that up, the tracks I'm speaking of are "The Way We Live" and "Mr. Percy" (which features a suspect verse from Triune). With the exception of those tracks, the rest of the album is flawless in my opinion.

Life is one of the top releases of 2006. KRS gets a lot of flack for not utilizing more grimey, boom bap styled production (especially on his last couple of albums), but there's nothing wrong with the production on this album. And the truth is that KRS One is nice on just about any beat you put in front of him -- the sign of a true emcee. How many rappers can you say that about? Case closed. I recommend making this album a collection piece. You won't be disappointed.
