ZX7000
Sure to be Your Main Squeeze

The KRUPS ZX7000 Citrus Press is a powerful, easy-to-use motorized press that squeezes delicious, fresh juice from your favorite fruits.

Universal cone holds all types and sizes of citrus fruits, from grapefruits to limes.

ZX7000
Two Settings

The KRUPS ZX7000 can be used with or without the pressure lever. Built-in sensors activate juicing process once the press arm and fruit are in proper contact.

ZX7000
Using the Lever

The lever helps press citrus fruits against the rotating juicing cone for clean, efficient extraction. It is also helpful when pressing larger fruit, or larger quantities of citrus fruits. Simply raise the lever to the upper position, place a glass on the grip tray, cut your fruit in half, apply pressure to the lever and the citrus press will start working automatically.

ZX7000
Pressing by Hand

In manual mode, fruit is pressed by hand against the rotating juicing cone. Simply raise the lever to the upper position, place a glass on the grip tray, cut your fruit in half, apply pressure with your hand against the fruit and the citrus press will start working automatically.

ZX7000
Removable, Dishwasher Safe Parts

Removable parts can be washed in the upper level of the dishwasher. The pressing lever and lever pin should only be cleaned in the sink.

For easy storage, the underside of the Citrus Press base includes a cord wrap when the appliance is not in use.

ZX7000
Assembly of Lever

For first time use, remove the small lever pin in the bag attached to the pressing lever. Hold the lever upright against the base. The lever should be on top of the citrus arm press. Align the holes, hold the black end of the lever pin and push the lever pin through the holes. The lever can now move up and down.

This juicer extracts the juice so efficiently that I have to use one orange less every day to get the same amount of juice that I got with my old juicer. However, the Krups has difficulties handling a grapefruit at the automatic setting and I need to switch to the manual. Also, I was very disappointed to find out that this model does not come with a drip stopper which necessitates the placement of an extra glass under the spout to catch the dripps, or it must be disassembled immediately after use so that is does not drip. I have also inserted a paper towel into the spout to regulate the drips. For this price, Krups should include a drip stopper.

When our $15 juicer went after one year,we went shopping for a replacement. But all the reviews of the juicers that were in the same or even slightly higher price range were mainly disappointing. It appears that a common theme of those reviews was that the juicer just did not last. We use our juicer about once every two weeks and only during the winter months when we wanted to make fresh lemonade from the lemons we grew in our garden. So, it wasn't as if we stressed it beyond reasonable use. We searched for something which would last instead of having to replace it every year.

In fact, buying a new $15 juicer each year for 6 or 7 years would still be cheaper than buying the Krups and we did consider that alternative. But we decided spend a bit more on something that would last a long time instead of having to deal with this each year. We searched for something with a much more powerful motor since the more powerful the motor, the less likely it will burn out if you use it for a long time each time you juice.

Apart from ease of use, the two main things to consider in purchasing a juicer is the power of the motor and the build quality - something that won't rock/wobble so that you have to keep holding as you are juicing. A third criteria is the noise.

This Krups is solidly built. It is heavy and will not move during juicing. It makes light work since it takes only a couple of presses of the lever to take the juice out each halve of the fruit so it a lot quicker to get the job done. It also makes a lot less noise because the motor is more powerful and therefore is not "straining" as you are using it.

So far, we are very happy with our decision. The unit also looks good. The only complaint is that they could have included a jug to collect the juice.

After reading reviews about all the heavy-duty/commercial juicers available on Amazon, I bought this for my husband for Christmas. With lots of family in town and a trailer-full of oranges, tangerines, and lemons from a local grove, he opened it a few days early. It juiced SEVERAL HUNDRED pounds of citrus over the next couple weeks without a single glitch. The design is simple- easy to use and clean. Our 5-year-old juiced tangerine juice for about 20 people all by himself. Our guests helped themselves to fresh juice throughout the day because it was so easy to use. No time to give it a good washing in the dishwasher, but it was easy to rinse out in the sink. Even our 3-year-old can juice for himself with this machine. Super impressed with how well it gets 95-100% of the juice out, also. With all that continuous juicing, the motor never sounded like it was straining. Looks sleek, too. As I type I hear it humming in the background- staving off the scurvy! Super happy with this purchase!

Krups ZX7000 Krups Citrus PressI am very happy that I bought this unit. It is well made and works well. I went on a trip and had the best pomegranate juice in the world made right in front of me., so when I got home I needed a citrus juicer. My choices were getting something mechanical or this but, I have arthritic hands so the electrical was a better choice. I can make a big pitcher of juice in less than half an hour. My hands are not bothered and the juices are fresh and taste much better than from the stores.

I wanted a citrus juicer that could do small limes to large grapefruit. The store had cheep $20 juicers or $400 plus juicers. I found this on amazon and bought it because it is a good price. It is the best juicer. The juice comes out smooth. Easy clean up. I can do all types of citrus. The press keeps my hands clean. Love it! Love it! It seems well built and should last a long time. It's quiet and gets the job done fast.

I live in California and have a lemon tree that grew hundreds of lemons this past year. My big freezer is filled with bags of lemons that need squeezing. I purchased this Citrus Press after watching the cooking show called, "Good Eats". The host was talking about pomegranates, which is another tree in my yard that grows dozens of fruits. He showed different models of citrus presses and this was a higher end model. After checking on different models I chose this one from Amazon. This was the best price and Amazon has been number one with me and all my purchases.

Each day I would thaw out two bags of frozen lemons and press over eighty at one time. I got tired but not this machine. This machine never stopped and every ounce of juice came out the spout. The dial to the right has three positions. Off, on when the lid is pulled down and always on ... turning ... for use with your hand. The center lifts out for easy cleaning.

The machine is a small foot print on my counter and worth every penny. I hope this information is helpful.
