This is an okay carbon scraper for the M4 bolt. It get's the job done for my purposes and was cheap enough. I only shoot a couple hundred rounds through my M4s at any one time nowadays, at most. I suppose if I shot a thousand rounds in a day or more, then the scraper may actually be put to the test and I could provide a better review about its efficacy.

It scrapes away the largest deposits, but leaves carbon at the very bottom of the bolt carrier. It also seemed to get a bur while trying to scrape the bottom. Should have probably gone with a more expensive brass scraper. For now I am using carb cleaner, a bore brush, and q-tips and that seems to work the best. Works ok to scraper to scrape the boat tail but since it is not curved it means I really have to take care not to scrape too hard.
