This Ka-bar tanto is an excellent blade. im in the army and i love this blade. its really a blade i can trust with my life out in the field. id be crazy to go into combat without it.

This is a great knife and would recommend it to anyone interested in Hunting/Survival. The knife came in about 5 business days. The knife itself feels very balanced and came very sharp out of the box. The handle is comfortable and I love the sheath. Plenty of places you could use some paracord to strap this baby down. This thing is big and you don't actually realize how big until you pull this badboy out of its sheath. I like the locking mechanism built into the sheath. You could mount the sheath to any M.O.L.L.E. vest or just put it on your belt and strap it to your leg. I'm very happy with my purchase. Also, this thing is made in the good ol USA! I buy American whenever I can but would never buy a knife that wasn't made in the U.S.

Very good knife, sharp, sturdy, and well made. The sheath is likewise very strong and has a 3 security system which consist of two straps and a sheath lock that will not release unless you press down on it a certain way. You can have all three or just one depending on your preference. You really can't go wrong with this knife although it is a bit long in case you want to carry it around.

100 dollars for a tactical knife like this quite a bit to spend, considering it's illegal to conceal and downright unwieldy to use. However, if you do a lot of hunting, or you're in the military, I can see it coming in handy. One thing to watch out for: some Ka-Bars are made in the US, others are made in China. Watch out for those Chinese Ka-Bars; while they ARE cheaper, the quality of materials is lower, thus a lower quality knife. Summing it all up, an 8-inch blade might seem cool, but come on, when are you ever gonna use it?
