2.0 out of 5 stars divination? thats not Kabbalah.
In describing this book it says it is good for "divination". Well according to the Torah that is an act condemned by G-d. So why would a book that portrays itself as a journey into Kabbalh emphasize the fact that it is making Judaism out to be like Tarot reading? This book is a flasification of Kaballah and a misrepresentation of faith.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tree of Life Readings - WOW, November 7, 2000

Reb Jeff Brodsky (Colorado Springs, CO.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Kabbalah Deck (Cards)
I have had the Kabbalah Deck since it first came out. I was using another deck called "Kabbalah Cards" by Ron Feldman but this deck is by far better from a traditionalist viewpoint. As the Rabbi of "Practical Kabbalah" in Colorado Springs I have looked for a tool to do readings for a long time. Many who come to me lack a connection, these cards serve as a substitute for that connection. I show them how through the "Tree of Life" they can discover their true path and how by using these cards on a regular basis they can be directed in their everyday lives. With the addition of the Hamseh cards a new dimension has come to my readings and I have see people be blessed on many occasions. If the cards are ever reprinted I hope they might have some color added and a statement of the paths added. Other then this shortcoming they are wonderful.

Hoffman's insight into Kabbalah is awesome. His command of ancient Hebrew Symbols is masterful. If you desire to walk the Path of Enlightenment; the Kabbalah Deck will light your way. Hoffman is at his best when he points the way to THE ETERNAL.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mystic Eternal Being, May 15, 2002

Dr. Hoffman is at home with the profoundly mysterious Light that shines in the depths of every human heart and in the spiritual heights of every human soul. He dishes up Kaballistic symbols with the ease of an old friend's familiar smile. Hoffman is clearly at home in The En Sof and his comfort puts us at ease and invites us to enter. Please come in, your own special place is waiting. Leave your worldly cares at the door.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Sacred Perspective, December 21, 2010
This review is from: The Kabbalah Deck (Cards)
I love the sacred perspective, that I can get of my life, whenever I draw a Kabbalah card. The commentary is clear and rings sweetly of truth. I wish I could understand the cards more, but what I have understood has helped me through some rough times. It also gave me a clearer understanding of the Judaism of Love and Wisdom. I needed that. I need to know more, however, to really be able to divine futures with them. Is there a part 2 coming out? :)
