Honest and Informative,
By A Customer
This review is from: Kabbalah for the Modern World (Llewellyn's New Age) (Paperback)
With all the books out there on The Kabbalah, it makes the subject seem more confusing than it really is. This book clarifies everything regarding The Kabbalah and backs it up with actual scientific findings. The author truely speaks directly to you as she unfolds the information, and never insults your intelligence. I highly reccomend this book to anyone interested in learning about The Kabbalah and it's place in modern life.

This book is simply extraordinary.,

This review is from: Kabbalah for the Modern World (Llewellyn's New Age) (Paperback)
This book is simply extraordinary. It not only presents the kabbalah from its classical viewpoint, but does so with intelligence and lucidity. One of the most fascinating aspects of this book is the correlations it makes between the kabbalah and physics. It truly makes you wonder about God and Creation. I can only say that it helped transform my life and my views of the cosmos and my own existence. If you ever wanted proof of the existence of a Supreme Intelligence behind creation, look no further. This book is IT. I think everyone should read it, whether or not you are a believer.

Extraodinarily Ill-Informed,
By Stone Mirror "Cult Leader" (Santa Cruz, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kabbalah for the Modern World (Llewellyn's New Age) (Paperback)
Hmm. I thought this book more "extraordinarily poor" than "extraordinary". The author attempts to present kaballah without having an adequate understanding of the subject, and filtered through a set of prejudices which are way off the beam of the subject matter at hand. If you're looking for a book on Santeria, a subject about which the author apparently knows something, feel free, but if you're looking to learn something about kaballah, there have got to be several hundred better books around. Start with "Path of the Kaballah" by Sheinkin, "Kaballah" by Halamish, or "Kaballah and Consciousness" by Aftermann for starts. I wouldn't waste my time on this one.

This book shimmers with inner beauty. It presents kaballah from both the mystical and the scientific viewpoint, and does so with great brilliancy. I found its spiritual content simply amazing, and as a practicing kaballist I recommend it strongly to anyone interested in the subject.

Kabbalah for Kids in Math is the Answer!,
By
This review is from: Kabbalah for the Modern World (Llewellyn's New Age) (Paperback)
Presentation is everything@! Like my favorite scientists, this book makes the Kabbalah understandable for beginners. I yearn to put this book in math classes all over America as the answer for awakening interest in kids for science and math. Numbers were always boring to me growing up. If only someone had taught me that each number holds a concept and secret to the Universe I would have gotten all A's in math. This book shows how the "unemotional" world of numbers, can be the key and light to logical intuition, and a abstract time machine to the past, present and future. Presentation is absolutely everything for awakening math interest in kids and making numbers cool!

The authors of this book have taken time and consideration in their inspired works to create the proper atmosphere of spirit. The cautions against its abuse are profoundly responsible

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Kabbalah For The Modern World (Paperback)
This book still goes into the who's and why's of KABBALAH.There is nothing Modern about this book.I thought that maybe it would go into more of the Kabbalah Magic but instead it gives you lessons on Kabbalah. If you are looking into Kabbalah Magic try something else by another author.
