Book Description

November 17, 2009
From best-selling author and noted teacher and speaker Yehuda Berg comes a thought-provoking call to action on our current global crisis. Positing that our collective abdication of responsibility — in every facet of our lives, including business and the economy, the environment, government and politics, healthcare, education, and religion — has contributed to the problems and challenges we face, Berg asserts that taking responsibility for our actions (or lack thereof) and their consequences is the key to achieving change for the better. Berg urges readers to access the power within each of us, using the principles of Kabbalah, in order to create the consciousness shift required for lasting positive change.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book - with an incredible message November 8, 2009
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I have been a fan of Yehuda Berg's book. I was surprised to find this book is somewhat of a departure, and represents a new direction for his work. Based in the teachings of Kabbalah - and this man has studied - and more importantly - lived according to the principles of Kabbalah practically his whole life - this book is more of a wake up call to our shared responsibility for global change. This book is raw, gritty, to the point, extensively researched, and life changing.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Power is up to Me November 15, 2009
Format:Paperback
I have read a large number of books by Yehuda Berg. This book is different than the others, by far his best. He displays the whole world as an example of why we need to listen to what he says in this book. I like his style it captivates the reader and keeps you entertained. He uses stories to let the reader analyze each point from his/her own viewpoint. He shows the viewpoints of the major religions of the world and shows how they mostly have the same goal but their paths being different still converge in the same future manifestation of the Messiah. He states, "Superheros only exist in comic books and movies. People or countries that have red capes in the closet usually create much more damage and drama than the problems they came to solve." He points out that change of the world has to come from within ourselves rather than in our dramatic attempts to change others by forcing our wills upon them. The way he points this out is very helpful. I think this book is fantastic. I recommend reading it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading title December 26, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am new to Kabbalah, yet I am well-versed in Spirituality. I purchased this book because I wanted to know more about the SYSTEM of Kabbalah. What I found was NOT an introduction to Kabbalah, but a well-written treatise on tolerance and personal change.

While this book has some poignant selections, it was NOT about Kabbalah. Equating it's title to it's content is like equating A Christmas Carol (by Dickens) to a choral instruction manual.

Well-witten. Thought-full. But NOT what it claims.
