Kacey Musgraves is an emerging singer/songwriter who is quietly making herself known on the Texas music scene. She started playing music at an early age, performing western music and yodeling her way into appearances on The Today Show, Good Morning America and the 2002 Winter Olympics. Now, at age 18, Kacey's music blends elements of musical influences like Dolly Parton, Steve Earle, Tom Petty and Michelle Branch with a love for good ol' country music. Kacey enjoys performing her music live and plays the guitar, mandolin and harmonica. She is one of those performers who seems to make new friends -- and fans -- wherever she goes. She is a native East Texan and proud of it. Kacey is currently working on a new album for a late '06 release.

I love this album. I saw Kacey perform on Nashville Star and fell in love with her voice. She is a great singer and songwriter. This album has some great songs.

I saw Kacey perform a few songs in Nashville and she was amazing. She knows how to use her voice - great control, and not many females impress me. Definitly a CD you can listen to all the way through. Kacey has a way of catching you up in the music.
