Kaci Bays...The Singer, With The Angelic Voice!!!, November 4, 2011

Now, I may be kinda partial to this CD. I say that, because I have had the pleasure of meeting Kaci Bays, on several different occasions, over the years. The first time I heard her sing, WOW, she literally, blew me away!!!! She has the voice of an Angel. You can tell it, through out this entire project. From the opener, "If The Jukebox Took Teardrops", her cover of Danni Leigh's debut release, to the project's closer, Shania Twain's, "From This Moment On", you are sure to be serenaded, by a classy lady. I especially love Kaci's version of Jo Dee Messina's "I'm Alright". I heard her do it, live, once, and it just sent chills all up, and down my spine. Now, with her spin on Shania's "Man, I Feel Like A Woman", she tears it up, and makes it all her own. Also included in this project, is her take on a few of Loretta Lynn's big hits, put together in a medley, that is really superb!! "Coalminer's Daughter", "You're Lookin' At Country", & "You Ain't Woman Enough, To Take My Man", she takes these songs, and puts her own twist on them. Now, there is a jazzy number, "Talk To Me", that just absolutely fits Kaci, and her voice, to a T. I love this song, and the arrangement, is just awesome. She takes Lorrie Morgan's "Something In Red", Crystal Gayle's, "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue", and Reba's "We're All Alone", and just tugs at your heartstrings, with her versions of these well-known songs. And, completing the project, is noneother than her version of the Mickey Gilley/Charley McClain collaboration, "Paradise Tonight", in which, surprise, Mickey Gilley, himself, adds his classic vocals, to. All in all, this is one awesome project. You will definately get your money's worth, out of this. I assure you, Kaci, is one terrific singer. Speaking as her friend, I highly reccomend this, to anyone, who likes good Country music, sang, the Kaci Bays way. It's very, very cool, indeed!!!
