The Big Stick is our entry level land paddle created for everybody. Light weight and an incredible ride. The replaceable Road Grip on the bottom of the Kahuna Big Stick is made of carbon rubber to get the best grip of the road. The Road Grip is soft enough to allow a smooth stroke and is not at all jarring on the body. It is also strong enough to endure intense riding. These contacts can be pried off and rotated if flat spots ever develop. However, wear on the Road Grip is usually extremely minimal unless the rider constantly breaks on steep roads with the Kahuna Big Stick. The Kahuna Big Stick is Awesome! It adds a whole new dimention to longboarding. I received mine today and can't begin to explain how good of a shoulder, ab, core, arm workout it is. I know I'm going to be sore tomorrow.

Beyond a great workout, it's just a blast to use while longboarding... check it out on youtube.

Ok ,so i was one of the ones who saw this on the internet and thought...... I can make one of those! I did using a pole from Lowes and 2 Ice Hockey pucks bolted on the bottom (do an internet search and you seen see plenty of homemade versions).
The DIY pole worked well and I got a great sense of how this works and how much excersise you get but, it was heavy and the Hockey pucks wore down very quickly. So, I took the chance and bought the real thing. I have no regrets, the Summer is just over the horizon and I'm already carving up the Bycicle paths and Beautiful Parks of Denver. This is so light and convenient to use with an excellent hard varnish finish. My only concern is that the decal may come off with regular use. Not sure if the decal is under the varnish or on top. Guess I'll find out over time.

Last thought.... Don't wait until these are copied by some other company at a substandard quality, as they will be soon, buy the best from Kahuna and like the last Guy said, check out the video's on line for a taste of the fun.

I don't understand why anyone would pay $89 for a product like this. A few weeks ago I saw someone with one of these and I decided I'd make my own. I used a long round wooden pole with a rubber foot on the bottom. I put some hockey tape on the top and it works unbelievably. I move much faster than before and It is very durable. The materials costed $15 total meaning I saved $75 and I am very happy with my push stick..
