Review

First let me say that I'm not normally a zombie fan in the least, but I loved Kai so much that it made up for that fact. This was a fun story from beginning to end. The descriptions were done well and I found that I really liked the characters. I could feel the emotions running through Kai as he went from one adventure to the next. If you are a fantasy junkie then you won't want to miss out on Kai's Journey.

From the Author

This is a story that started as a school assignment and was turned into a challenge to become published. It has been a long journey since 2009 but we have finally made it to publication! This book has been a joy and a challenge to create. We are happy its finally out for everyone else to get the opportunity to read it.

My ratings are very subjective, so the "OK" rating was actually a bit generous since one of my personal pet peeves is a cliffhanger ending. That is how this one ended and there were a couple of other issues as well.

The storyline required pretty major suspension of belief. The synopsis I read did not clearly define this as a YA book but I have read and enjoyed a number of books written for the YA market. It obvious very quickly that this was YA and somewhat 'younger' YA at that. I looked but was not able to find the age group this book was specifically written for.

Not a bad storyline, many of the characters were well defined and except for the cliffhanger ending I might have been inclined to read another in this series.
