THE pan for Hungarian Puspokkenyer (or Bishop's Bread), May 14, 2005
This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware La Forme 12-Inch Half Round Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
Puspokkenyer is a very light bread with a texture similar to angel food cake, but richer because the egg yolks are included along with chopped nuts and chopped raisins. Some bakers also include chocolate chips. An English language recipe appears on this link: http://www.recipecottage.com/cgi/user.cgi?go=recipe_edit&rid=9970. In this pan the bread comes out with the ridges perfectly sized for individual slices. For a topping I keep a jar of confectioner's sugar mixed with a broken up vanilla bean. While the bread is still warm, I sift on some of this vanilla sugar before slicing. Delicious served with Vienna roast coffee.

Perfectly sliced breads every time!, February 15, 2006
This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware La Forme 12-Inch Half Round Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
I'll never go without having this pan in my kitchen again. I use it for banana bread and I've never had a problem yet. Clean up is also a breeze. It's a non stick pan and the grooves are about the size of a finger so it wipes clean in no time at all.
