5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality heavy duty cookie sheet
I purchased two of the La Forme 10x14 cookie sheets in 2004 and they still work like a charm. Despite some minor discoloration the surface is still completely non-stick; not bad for something we have used almost every day for the past three years. Not only does the nonstick coating hold up well to everyday use it continues to clean up easily. We use them to bake biscuits,...

2.0 out of 5 stars Kaiser Cookie Sheet (Scratched, no recipe book, made in England, not Germany)
The cookie sheet came in unwrapped with some other items I ordered stacked on top of it! The cookie sheet was scratched all over! The sticker on the cookie sheet says "made in England", not Germany. No cook book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality heavy duty cookie sheet, May 22, 2007

I purchased two of the La Forme 10x14 cookie sheets in 2004 and they still work like a charm. Despite some minor discoloration the surface is still completely non-stick; not bad for something we have used almost every day for the past three years. Not only does the nonstick coating hold up well to everyday use it continues to clean up easily. We use them to bake biscuits, cookies, rolls, pastries and the pans conduct heat evenly and everything we bake on them has come out great. These have an angled handle that is easy to grip while using an oven mit so you are able to pick up/put down the cookie sheet without touching the cookies or baked goods on the cookie sheet; I have not smashed any baked goods while trying to handle this cookie sheet.

When I saw the 16x14 La Forme cookie sheets I purchased them because they are larger and because we now have two ovens and I can bake dinner and dessert simultaneously. I have had them for a few weeks and the quality is just as good as the 2004 La Forme purchase and I can get more on these cookie sheets because they are larger. When baking cookies being able to bake 16 per sheet instead of 12 is ideal because it gets me out of the kitchen faster. Because these cookie sheets are larger I find my self using them more often than my first set; in fact I have only used the 10x14 pans once since these arrived.

Great value because the sheets are very sturdy and the nonstick coating stands up to everyday heavy duty use. Great purchase - I would buy them again without hesitation.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as advertised...., November 4, 2007

I just got these today and they are not as described here. The height is not 1.8 inches....it is more like .6 inches. There are not ribbed handles. These are flat cookie sheets with no sides. One side has a slight lip (that is the .6 inches part) which is what you use to put them in and out of the oven. There is no recipe book. These don't look bad but they are definitely not as described! I am going to try baking on one and see if they heat evenly - I will update this if they cook well.

3.0 out of 5 stars Arrived scratched, October 23, 2007

They are a good price but arrived unwrapped and stacked on each other so they were scratched. Also sticker on top said made in England but the website says made in Germany. I asked Amazon about this and I was told to check with the manufacturer. Does Amazon care about what their website advertises? I guess not. Also said it would come with recipe book but no book and I bought four sheets.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive, non-stick coating, December 25, 2007

This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware La Forme 16-by-14-Inch Cookie Sheet (Kitchen)
Amazon listed in the description that this sheet has a "ribbed grip" and "22 baking recipes included". I purchased the product and when it was received recently neither was true. I added another pic to item page as the one they currently show is the ribbed grip version. Purchased for 4.99 and so far the non-stick coating has worked well. Inexpensive item that works well but just didn't match Amazon's product page description or current product image shown.

4.0 out of 5 stars This will make a nice gift., December 5, 2007

I bought several of these for gifts. Everyone can use a new cookie sheet right. Especially if I can get a $17+ cookie sheet for around $7. I don't think it probably works as good as the insulated sheets I use, but they are getting it for free so they should be happy. If their cookie sheets look anything like mine do after a year, I'm sure they will appreciate a new one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Needed better wrapping.., November 16, 2007

This is a nicely sized, heavy duty cookie sheet with a non-stick surface that bakes biscuits and large pizzas great. Easy cleanup and even cooking.

Only reason for the four stars is not because of quality or finished baking results using the cookie sheet, but rather because of the packaging of the sheet in the shipping carton.

Our sheet arrived with the non-stick coating worn off of one edge of the sheet because it had not been wrapped properly. But, since the non-stick baking surface itself is not effected, it is not a major problem.
