Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Whether baking zucchini bread or raspberry pound cake, Kaiser's loaf springform pan uniformly cooks and seamlessly releases any cherished recipe. The reassuring heft of heavy gauge metal construction creates a durable pan free of the bending and buckling common with flimsier materials. A deep groove encircling its base provides a snug fit for the accompanying springform ring and won't allow uncooked batter to seep under. Featuring a two-layer nonstick coating for easy food release, the ring itself stands approximately 3-1/2 inches in height and carries a stainless-steel buckle that latches and releases with minimal effort. Thanks to Kaiser's cut-resistant Magnum coating, the pan base can also be used as serveware--simply bypass messy transfers. Hand wash with hot water and non-abrasive soap as needed. Manufactured in Germany, this pan measures 6 by 13-1/2 by 3-1/2 inches and comes with Kaiser's 5-year warranty. Recipe book containing cake recipes included. --Amy Arnold

5.0 out of 5 stars Loaf Cheesecake!, May 12, 2005

This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware La Forme Loaf Springform Pan (Kitchen)
What a great innovation from Kaiser. I have had the regular Kaiser springform pans for years, but this allows you to slice evenly and serve beautiful slices of cheesecake. I even bake breads and cinnamon bunns in this pan. In my family we all fight over the middle one because it normally contains the most icing, but with break away sides your icing is evenly distributed. Great idea!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Go To Pan, December 29, 2007

This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware La Forme Loaf Springform Pan (Kitchen)
One of the things that used to make me anxious about baking was getting stuff out of the pan. Even nonstick bakeware occasionally sticks and there is nothing more disheartening in the kitchen than a cake splitting.

I discovered Kaiser springform pans long ago for cheesecake and finally bough a La Forme because they are leak proof. And we know how easy it is to turn out a cheesecake using a spring form. However, I soon discovered Kaiser had all sorts of shapes for all sorts of things and over time I upgraded all my bakeware.

Of all of the pieces, this is the one I use the most. It is perfect for pound cake, zucchini bread, ice cream cakes (try lining with plastic wrap first), and even meatloaf and pates. All you need to prep is spritz them with nonstick spray and when it comes time to serve, just run a knife around the edge and release the form. You can then serve from the base since it is knife safe or transfer to a platter.

Also, springform pans are great if you travel with deserts a lot. Just cover with foil and go.
