5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pan!
This pan is great. Cooks food really fast and makes it crispy in less time. I also just cut up fresh potatatos, toss in a little oil, salt, and bake. Great!

1.0 out of 5 stars Way overrated...
For the price, I was expecting something a lot sturdier. Nope, it's thin and flimsy. I guess it cooks frozen fries as well as a plain baking sheet, but I certainly don't see a huge difference. Definitely no better than one of those perforated pizza pans that sell for about $5.

This is a great pan to make oven goodies (frozen packaged french fries, chicken nuggets/tenders, fish sticks, breaded mushrooms, cheese sticks, jalapeno poppers, etc.) bake up nice and crispy and crunchy! The holes in the bottom of the pan make hot oven air circulate up underneath the pieces. The holes sit below raised ridges that hold the food up, so some fat can drain off. The food doesn't sit flat on the metal and turn mushy. On one end, there is a pouring lip so putting the food onto a plate is easy. This is a fantastic pan if you like it crispy and crunchy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Mom!, December 13, 2001

Perfect pan for Moms! I am a mother of 3 and small children who only like frozen chicken nuggets, fish sticks, tater tots and french fries. This pan makes all their favorite frozen foods crunchy and tasty instead of being soggy and bland!

This pan seems to work as described but it's not perfect so here are some things to consider before buying. For one thing, it's hand wash only. I'd forgotten that so it was probably a good thing that it didn't fit in my dishwasher anyway. It's easy to wash with a dish brush so that's not awful, but sometimes you just want to put everything in the dishwasher and not think about it. All the foods I've tried with it so far are frozen products, but I am going to try home fries to see if that really makes me happy I bought this pan. I'll update with the results.

Things I've tried so far have turned out fine, but I don't think it's enough different from the results I've gotten with a plain cookie sheet to warrant this purchase. The french fries and chicken tenders were reasonably crispy without turning (a plus) and didn't stick, but the fish sticks weren't and did stick. I left them in as long as the package specified but they were disappointing. They didn't stick badly so the washing was still pretty easy, but losing the crust on the fish seemed to defeat the purpose.

Not sure why I expected the pan to be a two-part thing like a broiler pan, but it's just the one pan with the holes so if there's a chance for oil or crumbs to fall though and mess up your oven, I'd suggest putting something on the shelf below to catch that. I have a pizza stone on my lower shelf, but a cookie sheet would work too. The point of the holes is to let dry heat in from beneath the food, I suppose, and the directions say to put the pan only on the open grill shelf, which I guess enhances that.

Bottom line for me is that I'll continue to use the pan and think it does make baking certain things easier because you don't have to turn them to get crispiness, and clean up is pretty easy, but I wouldn't re-buy the product. I gave it four stars anyway, because it does do what it says, but do we really need that? If you do really a lot of frozen stuff like fries and tenders, it may be worth it to you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little pan, May 12, 2007

I LOVE this pan!! Everything from fried zucchini sticks to tater tots comes out light and crispy. It's easy to clean, too. Just need to put a cookie sheet on the oven rack below to catch the drips.

This is an excellent pan for baking frozen foods. Everything comes out crispy and delicious. I've been cooking fries in the oven for years, but this pan makes an incredible difference.

I am not suppose to eat fried foods. I love french fries. This product does a GREAT job baking french fries. It is the closest thing to real grease fried french fries. It works really great on the sweet potato fries also. It is so much better than a "ccokie sheet".

I use this pan most often for fresh pizza at home and it is wonderful. Food cooks perfectly then slides right off. Pan washes very easily. Great!

Absolutely love this pan!! Makes french fries, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, potatoes, vegetables, pizza rolls...anything! Everything comes out evenly cooked and nice and crispy. Only problem is it is kind of small. I have 5 children and cannot fit enough on here for all of them. Will be purchasing another!
