I purchased this set simply because it was so inexpensive and I've had good luck with Kaiser items in the past. I just used the springform pan for the first time, to make a New York-style cheesecake for Thanksgiving dinner, and I have no complaints whatsoever. The springform set performed beautifully, and cleanup was easy. No, this set is not really heavy metal, but it does the job, and for someone like me who uses springform and flan pans maybe 5 or 6 times a year each, the quality more than suffices. Quite a bargain if you ask me.

I just made a cinnamon swirl cake using the tube insert for the springform pan, and it came out great! These are not non stick, but a little bit of non-stick spray takes care of that. The latch seals the pan nice and tight. They are a pleasure to use, and plan to use them often.

I ordered this mainly for the springform pan as I make alot of cheesecakes. The pieces aren't very sturdy but do the job & the whole set costs less than I would have paid for just the springform pan alone.
