This scraper works well when used as a hand-held spatula for scraping bowls or surfaces. It is handy for many surfaces as you can flip it over and use any side (round or flat) since you don't have to worry about cutting yourself.

As a pastry scraper, it doesn't cut dough as easily as a metal scraper. However, it does cut with a bit more effort - and causes no damage to the surface underneath. It does tend to bend a bit if you press really hard, but not much. The length is nice and easy to manage. For large balls of dough, multiple cuts need to be made, but this is easy.

It is nicely designed to be comfortable to hold. Also, it is easy to clean and store.

Unless you want the same cutting ease or large area of a metal scraper, this product is a great no-rust, no-damage alternative.

Much better than the plastic scrapers that have been around. I use it to chop roll dough into individual rolls instead of a metal bench scraper. It is the best thing for scraping everything out of a bowl, cleans the whole thing out. Nicer grip too.
