This is a great example of the Gypsy type of music you might here in a cold train station in Belgrade like I did back in 1988. The music is straight from the soul.

KalLoud and obnoxious - perfect to liven up a quiet group. Enjoyable music to get people talking, laughing, and maybe dancing.

I love this CD. Some of the best musicians I have ever heard. This CD is full of life and will make you smile when you hear it! Svaka cast!

I recently received this album as a gift off my Wish List. I wanted it because it had been recommended in an article about gypsy music. This album is definately worth the money. From the very first tune, you want to get up and dance. Kal mixes gypsy melodies with modern beats, a vocalist as smooth as any neo-swing crooner out there, plus a little techno, and the traditional scrapey violins. I need to take tango lessons now; some of these tracks wouldn't be out of place in the ballroom. The album is like a Tim Burton movie, dark, rich, a little twisted, a lot of fun.

Definitely worth a listen and a purchase. Very refreshing and eclectic mix of sounds from many countries. Highly recommended.
