I've had my travel uke for a few months now and I love it! For having a thin body, it has a great sound to it. It projects really well and even better than some of my other ukes. It's definitely worth the price, for how well it is crafted. It comes with a soft case and inside I keep my clip on tuner and that fits well inside the pocket. I've gotten a lot of weird looks about it, people trying to figure out what kind of instrument it is. When I pull it out, everyone's reaction is how beautiful it looks-- because the mahogany back and sides with the spruce top looks really nice. I usually keep an extra set of aquila strings on me and aquila strings gives it a nice sweet sound. If you want to bring a ukulele on a trip or even play it around the house-- this is a great uke to buy. The thinner body makes it more comfortable for me to play, so I catch myself playing it more often than the others. I highly recommend this to any ukulele fan. Great price and well worth it!

I thought I might like to take up a Uke for fun.
My first one was a Kala package deal and cost about $90.
It got me interested enough to continue. But it kept going out of tune.

I read the reviews on this one and decided to buy.
THIS IS A NICE UKE.
It stays in tune, sounds great, and is fun to play.
I'm just a beginner, but hey, I can make music and not having to constantly tune it only increases my playing time and enjoyment level.
Nice quality construction.

I would highly recommend.

While this little Ukulele emits the sweetest sound, what's also so amazing is how light it is. After I received it, I took it to the Sam Ash music store near where I live to inspect it to make sure everything was ok. Phil told me that he had seen many of them and that they were very popular. It was in excellent condition. I then went into the area of the store that has ukulele's. And as this was my 1st soprano purchase, I compared it to the other soprano's they had available. My Travel Ukulele was SO MUCH LIGHTER than all the others, apparently that's one of the reasons why it's called a Travel Ukulele! Also it's called a Travel Ukulele because of the length.

While at the music store, I purchased a soprano ukulele backpack and my Travel Ukulele with it's case and all, FIT inside the soprano backpack case, so now I have double protection for my new friend! Also this Uke comes with the famous Aquila strings and a soft gig bag/case with a handle and cool looking Hawaiian Kala emblem. This really is the ultimate in Travel musical fun for all, take it anywhere and everywhere! Unless you have extra large fingers, get this Uke or buy it for that special someone in your life.

I would also suggest you buy the fun & uplifting documentary film about Ukulele's: The Mighty Uke. This DVD will inspire you to play or inspire whomever watches it to play the ukulele. This Travel Ukulele and The Mighty Uke DVD would make an awesome gift to give anyone at any age. Remember: Music Self Played, Is Happiness Self Made.

I love this little thing. Don't be put off by the slimline style, it sounds great, goes anywhere, and looks good, too. It's not the loudest uke you'll find, but perfect for travel. The included gig bag is nice, but has no storage pockets, inside or out, so if you need to carry more than just the uke itself, you may want to look into another bag or case.

Unbeatable great tone from a small compact package. I have been playing low G on Cordoba tenors La Playa & TK (mahogany & Koa). I went with this to be able to pack it on a motorcycle for adventure touring. I am so impressed with the sound, playability, tone & build quality that I will trade both of my Cordobas for another one of these. Attention to detail is great. I have returned a few Ukuleles in the past due to poor setup & poor intonation. Not sure if the set-up is quality is from the manufacturer, or the merchant, but it isn't bad. I just changed the G string down an octave to an low G Aquila & it sounds great. I suspect it will be even better with Worth strings, but will wait to change when these wear out. I didn't think I would be happy with a soprano size ukulele, but this has opened my mind & blown away some misconceptions. Try one if you get a chance.

I am so proud of this ukelele. I took it to work and my co-workers and customers loved it as well. The body is so pretty and the workmanship is excellent. I looked at every inch of this uke for any defects, but I couldn't find one. It comes in a nice plush-lined bag. The bag and uke are contained in a cardboard box that's printed with a Hawaiian/surf design. I loved how I could fit this in a backpack or a tote bag. You really get what you paid for with this uke. I am glad I didn't get any of the cheap ones. As to the musical part of the uke, my novice ear was really impressed with it's loud sound.

I have had this uke now for several years and I still love it! The sound that comes from this slim little bodied uke is wonderful, crisp, clean, and projects very well. It is slim and small enough to fit just about anywhere, it stays in tune wonderfully, and it cannot be beat for the price and the quality.

Whether this is your first ukulele or your hundredth, this is a great choice for all around playing and wonderful sound.
