This is one of my favorite Kalahari teas. It is perfect when you're looking to sit back, relax and do some reading. With a bit of honey, it is just that much better.

Smooth Dreamy Chamomile,
This review is from: Kalahari Camps Bay Chamomile Red Tea (Misc.)
Rooibos tea brings back memories of sitting outdoors on our deck in Africa in the afternoon. We would always put a heaping tablespoon of condensed milk into our tea. This tea is a blend of Chamomile actually reminds me of tea at my Grandmother's home when she lived in Seattle. So this tea brought back many memories.
Rooibos has 50 times the anti-oxidant properties of green tea and this Rooibos tea blend seems to mingle well with flavored honey and is the perfect accompliment to a snack of soybutter and honey on toast. This tea is caffeine free, additive free, preservative free, colorant free and very low in tannin. The Rooibos (pronounced roy-boss) plant grows in the Cedar Valley deep in the heart of South Africa. It is a natural herb that is only harvested every two years. It is indigenous to the Cederberg mountains and it is said that this tea can help to calm nervous tensions, eradicate allergies and help with stomach problems, indigestion and can boost the immune system. This tea contains over forty polyphenol compounds and flavonoids. This tea is also anti-bacterial, anti-aging and anti-viral. I drink one of the Kalahari Rooibos teas every night now because the health benefits have become very apparent. The Chamomile blend can also help to alleviate sleeplessness. The tea bags are beautifully wrapped in high-quality glossy wrappers and it is easy to take this tea with you when traveling. ~The Rebecca Review |
