Biography

Kalapana was formed by Mackey Feary Jr., Malani Bilyeu, D.J. Pratt & Kirk Thompson. The band's first album, "Kalapana" was a smash hit. They followed with "Kalapana 2." Although, the original band didn't stay together long, fans all over the world, continue to enjoy their music, to this day.

I bought this CD specifically to get "Moon and Stars" sung by the lead singer Macky Feary. It is a poignant song from one of the best voices to come out of Hawaii and each time I hear it, I feel a great sadness over his short life. The CD will bring you back in time and remind you where you were with each song. A CD that will remain a classic in Hawaii.
