This book was published in 1999, frankly it was outdated. The author's failure to combine pieces of data together to form a new idea exemplifies the difference between 2002's reality and her theories. With the scaling up of globalization of commerce, countries everywhere are experiencing over-productions of goods and services that leaded to subsequent job losses and slowing down of economies. Using the constant expansion, bigger is better concept may not be innovative anymore. Books on thinking outside of the box are applicable for people today wanting to innovate. IMHO, this book is more like a section of Kanter's original script.....

These files are an excellent way to read a guru's thoughts on a new topic without having to read an entire book. You can read them quickly, but they are packed with great ideas.
