I gave this item 5 stars because it performs well, is cheap, and was described accurately. It is basically a specially-sized, handled bag with an attached absorbant pad to soak up wetness. I really loved these for our recent week-long backpacking trip around Europe. I liked the convenience of having the bags ready with the pad inside and so neatly packaged.

However, for regular use we buy the smallest size of trash bags and toss a disposable nursing pad inside. Perfect! I keep an extra ziploc with a roll of bags and a corresponding number of nursing pads in our car at all times, replenishing as needed. I was skeptical of the need for an absorbant pad at first, but now I prefer it. If you aren't going to be able to dispose of the potty bag immediately, you definitely don't want to be carrying around a baggie with a cup of pee inside!

I would purchase these again for a specific trip, but for everyday use I prefer the trash bag/disposable pad method.

I love the actual Potette Portable Potty I have one in red and my daughter absolutly loves it. It has been great on the go but, the Potty re-fills barely fit and the little pads in them don't give off much sent..For the price I wouldn't recoment them you pay $5 plus shipping for 10 and they are hard to find. I use generic plastic bags with sented pant libers I get 50 for less then the price of one re-fil. You do the math. Don't think the the seats are bad because they are not they work great you just have to make the choice on the bags..Try a regular plastic bag and see how it works. Good luck!

I bought these liners to fit our potette, which we love. What I didn't know until now is that there are TWO Potettes... the Potette and the Potette PLUS. The latter has handles that lock in the flat position for use on a standard toilet seat. Apparently the other potty seat does not do this. These liners are for the regular Potette which is slightly smaller than our Potette Plus. They do not fit!!! Make sure you are buying the correct size. Otherwise they work as described, and my daughter likes the little turtles on the bottom. That teeny pad doesn't absorb much of anything, but she insists on peeing on the turtles, lol! So afterward I throw in a couple of paper towels and we're good to go. I have some leftover nursing pads and those work great too.

Sadly, I didn't realize that there are two types of the potette potties. I have the Potette Plus. It is amazing! I love it!! My daughter loves it. And in a couple of years, I hope my son will love it. Can't say enough wonderful things about the toilet! It works on a big toilet great. It folds up into a diaper bag. It works as a stand alone. Just a wonderful tool for toddlers and preschoolers.

BUT - make sure you note which refill you are getting. I gave it three stars because Amazon recommends buying the Kalencom Potette Plus & On the Go Potty Liner Re-Fills 10-Pack, along with the toilet and the product on this page. Don't do it! Check to see which toilet you have/are ordering and make sure you get the right refill. This refill does NOT fit the Potette Plus.

Lesson learned for me!

The liners are rather a snug fit on the potette so are not particularly eas to get on, but the end result is fabulous - hygienic and easily disposable.

I love the portable potty and disposable liners. Very compact and so much better than having to use a public restroom with little ones. The kids love using it to! Bags tie up with no mess. We keep it in the car at all times and have taken it with us for air travel, or just an excursion to the park. Highly recommended.

The On the Go potty and liners have been so amazingly awesome for us. When potty training, my daughter absolutely loved to pull out her potty seat and cop a squat wherever we were! The liners hold the fluids really well too -- to my surprise. A must have -- and great investment! My daughter was fully potty trained at 18 months and is now three but will still use the potty seat when we're traveling --- and SOOOO much easier than going into some of those super nasty restrooms.

These bags fit well with the travel potty I got. They have that "baby fresh" smell and are blue so you don't have to see what goes into them. They are easy to dispose of and work well. However, you can also use gallon size ziplock bags (which close more securely and you can see through) which would be cheaper. Another plus to the gallon bags is they don't smell. I thought I'd like the scent, but it smelled up my whole car the first time I used it b/c one of the bags was in the potty ready to go (I even had it in the box!)

I bought the on-the-go potty years ago for when my first child was potty training. We didn't use it much then, but we have found it so helpful this summer with our second child. The unpredictable schedule of summertime has made it a more difficult time to potty train. Traveling in New York City with a recently potty-trained 2-year-old is a challenge, and this potty was a life-saver. I have in a pinch used regular plastic bags, but the liners that are marketed for the potty are much better. They have an absorbent pad, they fit the potty just right, and you can be sure that there won't be any leaks. I highly recommend this potty and the liners.

We really liked the portable potty and liners. They were great for when we were on the road or at the park and there were no real toilets nearby.
