Kalloy Allrounder style 25.4 15 deg 560mm wide Silver bar

This is a replacement for a Raleigh hybrid bike's bar that's aomewhat longer and has somewhat of a rise (about 2 in., I suppose). Frankly, I thought the Raleigh's bar was chrome, so I wanted something lighter--Kalloy's bar is somewhat lighter, but only by a few ounces (close to three--it is shorter, after all, and doesn't have a rise). (I wanted a reasonably priced, shorter flat bar that was alloy and silver colored (it's also polished)--not black or anodized.)

Kalloy, according to Amazon's offerings, seems to specialize in alloy seatposts and seatpost accessories, yet, it offers a few handlebar stems, and this lone handlebar model here. When I received the Kalloy (shipping was three days ahead of the estimate--thanks to UPS, Amazon, and Elite Cycling!), I thought the Allrounder was a high quality bar. Before install, I couldn't bend it. After install, I rode well with more steering responsiveness, slightly less wind resistance (all results of bar config, not quality), and, no bending. (I read on another post, for another brand's steel product, that a reviewer indicated bending while riding--I was concerned.)

Pros: Value, light, good quality budget flat silver-colored alloy bar.
Cons: Probably not semi-pro cyclist quality--not carbon fiber, maybe not light enough, likely not really high-tech alloy--really serious cyclists likely look elsewhere. Moreover, the Kalloy likely is not the best choice for high-end mountain bikes or BMX: Uses 1" (25.4mm) center instead of 1.25" for the bar center....
