This review is from: Kalorik SP2STAND Steam-Press Stand for STP-23783 Steam Press (Kitchen)
I was a fool and neglected to look at the specifications of this stand before purchasing: please take my advice and look at it before paying your money.
What's the problem? Well, it's only 31".
I'm 5' 11" (72", average height for a male). This means the stand puts the press at less than half my height and forces me to use the press whilst on my knees. It'd be easier to use if I put it on the kitchen table! So now I'm looking for something which will bring the press up to a level where I can use it while standing normally.
Do yourself a favor and measure 31", now imagine having to press your clothes inside a 400-degree steam press at that height. You probably don't want your knuckles straightening out clothes in there without the benefit of your eyes. This means you're going to have to either bend over abnormally or get on your knees.
If your press is in a basement, I hope it's finished. Otherwise, invest in some quality knee pads! Or just take my advice and put the unit on a table or something reasonably high.
