This book presents a historic view of the weapon as well as a unique variety of kama. A simple kata is presented as well as demonstrated use. The book is easy to follow and the pictures provide adequate detail for kobudo students that have had some exposure to the weapon.

this is a perfect book on ancient kobudo right down to the natagama...get this book!
he shows the ancient forms of okinawa kobudo not karate but "te" as it was once called perfect for any koryu or jutsu style practicionor who wants REAL kama training examples this is similar to a style still taught today that was only a kama ryuha. here is a good intro to that style as well i will not say more. except if you practice any budo and want real kama waza that work here you go. thanx again sensei obata i forgive you for those turtle movies... |
