Surviving Loss and Separation,
By Carolyn Hughes (Germantown, TN USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kamal's Quest (Hardcover)
In light of recent tragedy in our country, resulting from terrorist attacks, there will again be children who struggle to understand the bad things that happen to us all. One of the ways we can move through our grief is to minister to others who need our love and attention.Ms. Profilet wrote this story during the Desert Storm campaign to help children deal with the feelings of loss and separation as their loved ones left with mobilizing troops. Beautiful illustrations help the reader visualize the island of Bahrain and what this baby camel experiences as he is separated from his mother. |
