These waterproof rubber boots have a thermal rating of -40 degrees F., which is not mentioned in the product description. The lining is great. It goes from the top of the boot to the tip of the toe. I wear a size 10 men's shoe and ordered a size 10 boot. The boots fit perfectly whenever I wear them with a pair or two of heavy winter socks. They top of the boot comes up to just beyond mid-calf. The tie-top is rather pointless, but with proper winter pants, the tie serves no real purpose anyhow. I ordered the boots early Tuesday morning and requested second day delivery. They arrived Wednesday - one day early. Thanks Amazon!

The boots are heavy-duty and well insulated. They are extremely over sized. My son wears an 8 1/2 shoe and after reading another person's review I ordered the size 8. My husband wears a 9 1/2 shoe and he can wear these boots. My son wore them with two pairs of heavy socks. We bought them for an outside job planting trees (wet, cold conditions) and they worked but in hind sight we wish we had bought a more versatile boot that had a lining that was designed to be removed for warmer weather. The insulation does come out of these boots but they are uncomfortable without it.

I ordered these boots and they came on Thursday before we got the blizzard of 2010 (30" inches of snow in one day). I was out shoveling snow for 2 days straight, as well as sledding with my kids. I must say the warmest part of my body was my feet. They stayed completely dry and warm the whole time. I highly recommend Kamik boots. I found them to be sized much the same as my regular shoe size, and I definitely recommend using extra long socks to avoid friction/rubbing of the liner on your upper calf. No complaints!!!

Great Boots but the sizes are not standard. Size 9 boot was way too big for my son's size 8.5 foot. I had to return them & lose my shipping fees. Buy them were you can try them on.

The boots are great, but keep in mind, the sizes run big. I'm typically an 8-9 so I bought a size 9 thinking I'd need the extra space for an extra pair of socks. Well apparently they took that into account, and then some. These size 9 boots seem more like a size 11. I'm swimming in them. Unfortunately, the day I received them we got 2+ feet of snow, so I HAD to wear them, so now I'm stuck with a pair of boots that are too big. But at least they're warm, and keep my feet dry. I gave 4 stars, but would have given 5 if the sizing was more accurate.

I bought a pair of these 11 years ago. I outgrew them and just recently bought the exact same pair. They are by far the warmest, best boots I've ever owned! I wear a size 12 shoe and the size 12 boots fit fine. I can wear 1 pair of regular socks or 2 thick pairs (no need for it though because they are so warm). They are so comfortable I can wear them with no socks at all! They are totally waterproof. I love walking through creeks or 12" of snow. These boots are beasts! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of boots.

I am a 10.5. Ordered an 11 to wear with thick socks. These are huge. I sent them back (no hassle at all from Sportsman's Guide). Other than strong rubber smell they seemed okay.

These are great boots for the price but I would rate them at something like -10 F. Great for spring and fall.. but I would consider a heavier insulated boot for winter activities.

These boots are everything they say
I have been out several times for extended periods in over a foot of snow and not the hint of cold feet
a very thick felt like inner boot keeps the feet toasty
a nice feature the top secures around leg and keeps any snow entering at top of boot
you will love them so will your feet.

These boots are well made, very warm and comfortable, and has great traction. If you are looking for a high quality all-weather boot this is it. Buyers should know that these boots are large, bulky, and a little on the heavy side, but no more so that is to be expected in an all weather boot.
