I have been on a long search for rain boots that are fashionable, functional, with no chemical smell, and good craftsmanship! oh and affordable!!! I needed a pair that would look good with most of my outfits, look stylish (I hate how most rain boots have an extra large toe box and are big and bulky - they remind me of the ones I had when I was a kid) - yuck! I also noticed that most affordable options looked awful, smelled like chemicals, and had glue marks where the sole meets the shoe - in the heel area and toe area (which is a good indicator that they would not last)!! On top of all of this I needed a pair that would withstand the rainy Chicago weather - and survive at least a year!!

Well after months of searching I FINALLY found a pair that meet all of my requirements and then some!
These look sleek and modern! No bulky toe box here (oh and my feet are wide and fit perfect with extra room), plus there is extra room in the calf area (which can be an issue, and was something I was concerned about since I didn't try them on before buying). They also have a nice lining inside - some rain boots (especially the cheap ones don't have lining).

The company also recycles the boots, so when you can no longer wear them, you can send them back - so they are concerned with their environmental footprint!! This makes me happy, as well as the fact that the company is known for making outdoor wear - so it is a good product with a very reasonable price!!!!! Plus they look fashionable!

I normally wear a 7 1/2 but purchased an 8. I am happy with the size I bought, I do have more than enough extra room so just in case I wear a heavy socks, my feet won't be squished. Hope this review helps!

These boots are great! Very comfortable, very stylish. I bought an 8 upon other reviews saying they run small; I usually wear a 7-7.5 and the 8 was perfect. Wanted the plum colored ones but they weren't in my size, but the black ones def go with everything and are even nice enough to go out in if it was raining. Also, the company recycles them when you don't want them anymore, so they are earth-friendly :)

I bought these lovely boots based on Amazon users' high ratings for durability, but had to return them. :( The calf was just too tight. I'm a short (5'4"), plus-size (sz 18) woman, so the narrow top was too high up my leg. I used my measuring tape and measured 15" around the outside of the top (14" on the inside). Unfortunately, this is their shortest style. I'll look elsewhere.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these boots, most of which was reading product reviews from others who have worn them. It is true that the shaft of the boot--especially towards the cuff--is more narrow than your average pair of rain boots. I had initially wanted the taller "Ellie" style, but was worried about the oft-mentioned tightness in the calf and thus went with this shorter option. My calf is about 14.5 inches where the top of the boot hits, and the Heidi boot seems to be about 15 inches wide at the opening; this is enough room for me to still tuck in my jeans or wear tall, thick socks with them. Regarding sizing, I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 shoe (I also have wider feet), and after people recommended going up one size I ordered a 9. There is definitely some extra length beyond my toes, but I do not find my foot slipping around at all and I think going one size up is wise.

I have but one actual complain about this boot, and it is minor: One of the first times wearing these out, I wore normal ankle socks that did not go higher than the boot and ended up with a light friction burn on one leg from the fabric seam at the back of the boot (where the fabric at the edge overlaps and is slightly thicker). It was only the once, and I've made sure to wear knee-high socks, tights or skinny jeans with the boots since then.

As for praise, I could go on for some time. I live in Portland, Oregon, which is both a very rainy city and rather fashionably aware, and get compliments on these boots almost everywhere I go. People love the color (and the shine), the unique shape/style of the boot (it's definitely not your average rain boot), and the fact that there is actual, functional tread on the bottom. The tread was one of the major selling points for me, as I wanted something that would do well in snowy or icy conditions, something Portland has been getting more of in recent years. I've even worn these boots on the Oregon coast, and walking on the dunes was fine. I can vouch for the comfort of these boots; I have walked several miles at a time in them and never had any aching or blistering. My feet stay warm in these even on Winter days where it's 30F out; I imagine they'll be equally as comfortable come the 50F days of Spring.

Based on this one pair of boots, I would definitely give Kamik's product a second glance regardless of what type of shoe I'm looking for. They've proved to have the value for the cost, and I am very happy with my shiny purple rain boots!

I was very happy when I got my boots, they looked nice and i thought they'd do what my other boots couldn't: protect my feet from rain, slush and snow. But they did not. My feet are wet from walking home through NYC slushy sidewalks (mostly toe area and sides). I was Ok with the boots being somewhat narrow and heavy, but this is very very disappointing. I've had them for less than a year and will have to spend money and time finding a new pair. Buyers, these boots are not worth the trouble...

After years of living in the city and walking the dog in the rain, I've begun to feel like a bit of a rain boot expert and can easily say these are my favorites! The fit is great - true to size with a nice sole and comfy foot bed. The boots are easy on and off - rather surprisingly so as the boots have a slim look. My feet have stayed warm and dry, look great and I'm happy to be going through winter with this pair covering my toes!

I read the reviews for these boots and eagerly bought them as I've been looking for comfortable rainboots that don't look like they were designed for a 7-year old. My friend also bought these boots (not long before I did) and was raving about them. At first they seemed okay and relatively comfortable, albeit a bit bulbous and shiny for my taste (and maybe I have skinny legs but the calf area was sort of big), but I was surprised at how low they came up, hitting just above halfway up my calf. Be warned that my pants still got wet either from splash-back or umbrella drip, I couldn't really figure it out. After a few times of use, however, I noticed my socks were getting soaked, but at the top of my foot. Apparently there is a very thin seam that runs along the top of the boot and that seam was not properly sealed! So my rainboots don't work and I am returning them.

I absolutely LOVE these boots. After I was forced to trek to my classes during a nor'easter, I decided purchasing rainboots was a probably a smart idea. I researched several other styles and brands, but I am glad I chose Kamik's Heidi rain boots. They are cute, stylish, and go nicely with any outfit. I've seen some clunky boots that are difficult to walk in, but with these there is no such problem. Order a size up from what you would normaly wear: I generally wear a 9-9.5, but the 10 fits perfectly!

These rainboots are really comfortable for me and it's really amazing because I have wide feet and most rainboots are not made for people with wide feet. I had carefully read other reviews and bought them a size up and it fit my foot perfectly. Secondly these boots feel really good on my feet. Thirdly they're stylish. I can't wait to wear them when it rains.

I bought these boots for a Halloween costume but they will get plenty of use every other day of the year. They are comfortable and good looking. What really impresses me is that the company (a Canadian business) that manufactures these boots will accept them for recycling when you're done with them. How cool is that!?

Perfect for rainy days, working in the garden, and superhero costumes. :)
