Pleasant laidback album,
By J Lee Harshbarger (Ypsilanti, MI United States) - See all my reviews

I got this album rather early in 2001, but it didn't really catch my fancy until 2002. Sometimes albums are like that--you don't like them so much when you first listen to them, but then they grow on you. This is laid back summer music all the way; I only listen to this in summer. It uses electric guitars with a lazy summer day sound, and features reflective male vocals.

Rhubarb: Kamikaze,
By Nathan Dickey (Greenleaf ID USA) - See all my reviews

After borrowing this album from a friend, I have put it on my "To Buy" list. Rhubarb: Kamikaze contains ten songs, my favorites being "Kamikaze" and "Exerciser". This album is worth the purchase price and can be compared to other Christian contemporary artists such as The W's, and Newsboys. Personally, I think this album belongs in any Christian contemporary music collection. It is pretty good!

This album is awsome. Rubarb are a talented and passionate band. The songs are catchy well writen and above all FUN! I recomend Kamikaze to anyone with a fun loving attitude. Exersiser and Nice Girls are the best songs and believe me you will play this album over and over and over untill the neighbours complain it is that good. So get it now you won't regret it!

This is better than a lot of what the christian industry puts out. In my opinion most christian contemorary music is disposable. This band couldn't sound any less like the W's and the Newsboys...and that's a good thing.
