Simply an unforgettable film. The emotions (love, loneliness, lust, and madness) are played out with a passionate realism that pierces your consciousness, never to be forgotten (I saw this film in the early 70's and still remember it vividly almost 40 years later!). It's a film that satisfies and haunts you at the same time. PLEASE make it available on DVD or at minimum on VHS. Thanks!
