5.0 out of 5 stars A "must have" book for new college freshmen., April 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Kampus Kwestions: How to Bake a Potato and Other Great Mysteries (Paperback)
This book provides the answers to questions by high school seniors preparing to reside on campus (or by college students already there) on a myriad of topics, such as "what do I need to buy for my dorm room?";"how do I prepare a college budget?";"what safety tips do I need to follow?" and many more. The authors have sent three children to college and have assembled a comprehensive guide complete with handy lists that can be used by the reader. In addition, common tips on various subjects such as cleaning (i.e., how to remove spots), cooking (how the title came into being), shopping, car maintenence and many other topics are provided. The book is a "Mom in print" for the times when fast advice is needed. The sections are tabbed for quick and easy reference. This is an excellent book to give as a gift to a new college freshman.
