Dennis was born in Toronto, Ontario March 1945. He has a degree in Political Science and French from Sir Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo and a degree in education from the University of Toronto. He worked with Canadian Crossroada Africa from 1969-1971 both as a volunteer and public education officer. He was Education Director for the United Nations Assoc. of Toronto from 1971-74. He started a freelance writing partnership with Janet Rosenstock in 1974 and that year covered The UN World Population Conference in Bucharest Romania for the Financial Post and other media. Our first book project was the novelization of the Riel TV series in 1979. Our best selling historic romance series from Avon Books N.Y.,THE STORY of CANADA started with KANATA started in 1981. THE KEY is their 29th book. We have also written under the pen name of Joyce Carlow since 1981.
