5.0 out of 5 stars A unique selection of Kandinsky's art
I've purchased the teNeuss Kandinsky calendar for my kitchen for the last five or more years and am always pleased with the selections made of Kandinsky's art. Each year a new piece of art I've never seen before appears and there's been very little repetition from previous years. The quality of the paper and printing is high. The one thing that has been missing, moon...

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware of weekly format change for 2012
I've bought the TeNeues Kandinsky calendar annually for the past 12 years and always look forward to hanging it in my office. HOWEVER, for 2012 they reformatted the calendar so that it begins on Monday instead of Sunday. The artwork is wonderful as always, but I'm off to buy another calendar in the Sunday-start format. Just know what you're getting so you don't spend $15...

5.0 out of 5 stars Calendar Joy, January 9, 2007
I live in a small town and have a hard time getting deals. This was a huge bargain, about a quarter of the regular price and excellent quality.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kandinsky wall calendar, January 7, 2012
The print, color and paper quality for this calendar were not as good as I expected. For the money paid, I expected more.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great calendar but not for keeping family schedule, February 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love Kandinsky's artwork. Love the artwork above the calendar but the actual calendar squares don't have a lot of space. I purchased this to write down the family schedule - we have a lot going on. But for good or bad the calendar lists every holiday from around the world. Some squares have holidays more than four deep. Since I couldn't return the opened calendar I took white out and went through all 12 months. So if it's hanging on your wall for artwork it's great but for a household calendar it really doesn't work.

I congratulate myself for choosing one of the best calendars available. It is exactly what I expected. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good wall calendar.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool calendar to look at..., November 22, 2008
Since my beloved Far Side wall calendar is gone I decided to move onto something artsy. I love the designs on the calendar and it is a great wall calendar if you don't intend on writing much on it. I write a lot on my wall calendars, birthdays, parties, kids extra curricular activies, etc. It is our house bible. On most days there is enough room in the daily square but every holiday under the sun is listed on this calendar. There is one day where a third of the daily square was filled with various non-U.S. holidays. I took correction tape and whited out all the non-U.S. holidays/celebrations throughout the entire calendar. Not because I'm not interested on what Russia is celebrating but because I need the space to write our families activities. I appreciate the world appeal this calendar has but I wish the store I purchased it from had an open one to look at...so as a classy art wall calendar it gets 5 stars, but as a class art wall calendar to write all your stuff on, only 4 stars. I miss Mr. Larsen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Expect the best, November 19, 2003

This review is from: Kandinsky 2004 Wall Calendar (Calendar)
Although I have not seen the new Kandinsky calendar I expect the best, because I have collected as many books and art about Kandinsky that I could not only find, but afford; prompting me to write my own studies of Kandinsky, titled "You Kan Do A Kandinsky," meaning anyone can (following his teachings during the Bauhaus period) actually do a Kandinsky style composition. I've found that the more Kandinsky art I can find, (and especially calendars - 12 of his artworks guaranteed) the more I can spot and project his methods. I expect and am sure the calendar will be enjoyed throughout the year.
