I purchased this a couple of weeks ago. It worked reasonably well (that is to say there was the occasional dropout when playing a podcast on an iPhone 4 using the standard ipod app on my car stereo) but trying it through logitech and bassburger speakers was unworkable. The audio played intermittently and you couldn't really understand what was being said. Guess I should've stuck with the airport express from apple. Disappointing Kanex, really disappointing.

This product is simple to use and does exactly what it says, plays music clearly and with minimal setup, over a bluetooth connection from iPhones, Macbook Pro, and other bluetooth devices--but unfortunately has one major flaw for users who wish to install it with their home stereo or Bose Sounddock -- it powers down after several minutes of silence from your phone or laptop, no matter if it's plugged in with USB power or not. Even if it is plugged in to USB power, it shuts down after a few minutes of silence from your device, and leaves a ground-loop hum playing right into your speaker system. This flaw renders the device useless to me, and I returned it after one day of use. It also renders it useless for users who want to keep it plugged in to a car glovebox
After consulting the Kanex support forum on this device, a Kanex Representative said there is no solution for this problem. I am surprised they cannot issue a simple firmware fix for this!

Amazon Verified Purchase
Easy to use, small with long battery life. It does drop the signal sometimes and sound quality is ok, even with my Bose speakers they take away from the sound quality.

Cheaply made, stopped working after first charge.
Flimsy plastic case. After charging, it would still pair to my phone, but no audio output at all. I got a quick refund from Amazon.
