5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting book indeed July 29, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I bought this book because I recently moved to Australia and wanted to learn more about the animal that up until now, I had seen as a kid growing up, on a tv series we had at home called "skippy, the bush kangaroo".

Although a children's book, this is a great read for anyone wanting to know more about the kangaroo. Those pictures of the baby kangaroo crawling up to its mother's pouch are unbelievable!! Mind you, it also looks to take its time to "leave home" too. Loved the family shot too!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it has certainly helped me to know more about this Australian animal.

The family and I enjoyed reading through this interesting book and learning more about Kangaroos. I had no idea how small they were when they are first born. And am glad they changed their name from gungurru to Kangaroo. Much easier to pronounce :) We loved the book and can't wait for any future installments.

What a nice, nice read about an interesting Australian symbol. I got this book because there are no kangaroos in my area and I wanted to learn more. This book did that for me. This will make a wonderful read for kids.
