5.0 out of 5 stars This is good music, July 30, 2008
Eisbrecher has all the good qualities of German industrial: deep, throbbing, and gutteral. There's a little something extra though, a melodic quality that prevents it from being too heavy or harsh. This EP reflects that and is definitely worth the purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Music, July 31, 2008
I love how this sounds! I hope that this band continues to gain notoriety and that they can develop a large fan base in America. I just would hate to see them stop singing in German in order to get into the American market. The German is one of the best parts!

American audiences, you need to know Eisbrecher.
This is the 3rd release for the band, known well in Germany in the industrial/rock circles.

This is a nice sampling of their sound capabilities - rough and fast as well as slow and deep. However you like it, you will be completely satisfied at the end and want more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Herzdieb has stolen my heart, July 30, 2008

This review is from: Kann Denn Liebe Suende (Audio CD)
"Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein?" continues the Eisbrecher tradition of matching intelligent lyrics in German with powerful electronic rock and catchy tunes that will make you want to sing along, even if you don't understand a word. The title song is strong, but in my opinion the ballad "Herzdieb" steals the show.

The theme of the third album is sin (the single presents sins relating to love), and it has certainly triggered greed and envy in me -- I want more, I want it now, and I am jealous of our friends across the Atlantic who will get to experience these songs live in a month or two. It looks like it might be hard to come across a physical copy of the single over here (I got mine from Germany), but luckily, Amazon is also offering mp3 downloads of the tracks for a tiny fraction of the price.

A bit about the band:
Eisbrecher is a name that should be familiar to any fan of current German electronic rock and metal, and the band especially seems to share a lot of fans with Megaherz, Oomph!, Rammstein and Unheilig, while still managing to create its own distinctive sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, plain and simple., August 6, 2008

What can I say? The songs leave me a little tongue-tied. KDLSS had me from the get-go, and Herzdieb is another gem. The vocals are absolutely striking. Eisbrecher is back with a vengeance!
