A short but entertaining story., August 23, 2003

This review is from: Kansas City's Bravest (The Taylor Clan) (Mass Market Paperback)
The back of the book says:
Arson investigator Gideon Taylor had his hands full with three suspicious fires and no leads. Complicating matters were his unresolved feelings for former colleague Meghan Wright- the one woman he'd never got out of his system. She'd become the target of a stalker, whose proximity to Gideon's assignment was no coincidence. But as Gideon and Meghan joined forces to uncover the secrets scorched to cinders, it was clear a five-alarm inferno was about to ignite between them. Could they reveal who was responsible for what appeared to be an elaborate plan before the sizzling embers of their relationship were permanently extinguished...?
I enjoyed this book because it had characters that were flawed and manged to find love in spite of it. The woman was strong and courageous and the man was exactly what she needed. There were some moments that seemed a bit over the top and the whodunnit was a bit of a let down. But the chemistry and romance between the 2 main characters more than made up for it.

Another great one from Julie Miller!, January 13, 2011

Her stories never cease to satisfy and she seems to know the perfect formula of action/romance/intrigue to write a story that you just can't seem to put down until you finish it. I think thats why her stories seem so short! lol You sit down thinking you are going to read for half and hour and next thing you know hours have passed by and you're still reluctant to put it down.
I'm never disappointed when I read her books. Thanks for another great one!
