Though this is a drama, I found it to be funny, especially Matt Dillon's character. His acting was great, but you can't help but like his character and laugh because he's so greasy and slick. It has its obviously humorous parts, but it is classic 80s, and for that I love it. If you're from Kansas, you realize combines don't go that slow when farming and it was shot for effect. Great scenery and it captures small town ideals and life. Not an Oscar award winning picture, but a nice one to watch with friends, while relaxing with an alcoholic drink. BTW, Matt Dillon is pretty hot in the movie too.

Beings as I live in Kansas..i thought this would be a great movie to own. It's an alright movie..kinda boring but mostly filmed right here in the state i love most! Check it out if you live in the Lawrence / Lecompton / Valley Falls area..you will recognize some sites!

This is the perfect sleeping pill: a movie with every cliche in the book about love, heroes, etc etc. Matt Dillon is so much better than this.
