Klean Kanteen Stainless Steel Water Bottle Shoulder Sling (40-Ounce Bottles)

I recently became interested in stainless steel water bottles for purely pragmatic reasons. After determining the 40 oz. Klean Kanteen appeared to meet my needs, I investigated the various options. The sling holders made specifically to fit the bottle was a welcome option to allow hauling the bottle around with me. Until recently I've carried re-used water bottles until they became worn from the constant use. I was a bit concerned about the fit of the sling based on some of the reviews I'd read, but I found it took me only about 30 seconds to slide the sling onto the Kanteen (no directions needed). The adjustable strap is handy to allow me to change the length as I may need. Since I initially made the strap relatively short, there was a foot or so of strap that needed to be dealt with. I just folded it up in an accordion fashion and wrapped a couple rubber bands around it.Everything fits well and the strap allows me to hang on to the bottle along with a computer bag, portfolio and whatever else I may be hauling from one meeting to another. I'm sure if I think enough I can come up with some negatives about the sling, but for the price and functionality it provides, I'm quite happy with the product.

I like this since it makes carrying the larger bottle easier, I found it is a little difficult to put on and take off though.. When you order make sure it says it is in stock.

I bought two of these slings when I bought the 40 oz bottles. The slings fit in the bottles, and work as expected.

However, I just put one of these through the wash, and all the seams came apart and was fraying. It said it was able to go in the washer, but I guess not. :(

Since I still haven't recieved my Klean Kanteen bottles (they were on backorder), I used these for the bottles that I am currently using. Both bottles are large and have different shapes, but they both fit the holders very well. Very happy with the product overall.

The sling firmly grips the kanteen and doesn't leave any room for slack. I haven't had a problem with my painted kanteen but it may lead to scratching.

Love the Kleen Kanteen vs my Swiss made container, in that it allows you to use regular ice cubes to cool the liquid. The only thing missing was the strap. Now with the holder, you can easily carry your liquids with you wherever you need to--tennis court etc. I don't know what more you would want or need in a carrier.

This will not fit a standard small water bottle. Must have to order one of their bottles for it to fit.

We ordered this item when we ordered the 40oz Klean Kanteen. This turned out to be just what we needed. We have not had any
problems with fitting the bottle into the sling, or removing it from it either. For our little trips to the mountains, this
more than served the purpose. It is adjustable. It is not uncomfortable whatsoever. It is not cumbersome.

This works well for us; when we take walks, for an example. This Shoulder Sling for 40oz Klean Kanteens, really does what we
expected of it - even more. We are pleased to have gotten this with the water bottle. A great companion accessary to have on
hand. It works well for us, and it may work well for you too. We would recommend it.

I read quite alot of negative reviews about this product. I purchased it anyway and it just arrived. I can honestly say that within 30 seconds of it coming out of the box, I had it on the water bottle. I do suggest turning the bottle upside down and putting it on like a hat. It fits nicely and look forward to using it for multiple purposes

real tight fit, but the bottle can be pulled out and placed back in with minimal effort (if you're not an idiot).
you can use it as a shoulder sling or tie the entire thing around your waist though the belt loops and wear the entire strap as a belt and have the bottle hanging off the side of you like a canteen.
