I needed an item to place my 22 inch television over my cable box. This item has done that. No screws, bits, or glue involved - I just took it out of the box and it was ready to go!

picture is not clear on important details
i.e. that there is a middle bridge support, or the rear lip.
which is a design flaw as the lip cracks easily during shipping, as mine did!

This monitor/printer stand is elegant in its simplicity. It is unobtrusive and does the job intended. Sturdy enough to easily hold the large format printer (Epsyn R1900) I have on it. Lots of room for my laptop underneath when I want to set it there.

I bought three. All three arrived broken, but it was NOT due to poor packaging - all the boxes were intact. There's a structural flaw somewhere. I wish I had paid attention to the other reviewer who stated this.

i was very xcited to receive this since my cats tend to walk on top of my powerbook when i step away from my desk. i was disappointed when i opened the box and it was in 2pieces. i am returning it.

UPDATE: i intended to come back and give Shoplet a rave review - when i contacted them - they immediately offered to ship a replacement, they told me to go ahead and discard the broken one.

woohoo, eight? well, days went by with no tracking nothing so i contacted the company and asked for a tracking number in case i missed the delivery. they responded with the original tracking number for the one that arrived broken. i emailed back to point this out and attached their original email that stated they would be replacing the item and i heard nothing mroe for a few days. i finally contacted amazon and requested a refund. by this time i had gone to Ikea and jury rigged something to keep my cat from walking on my laptop while it was backing up, etc.

amazon promptly processed the refund and all is well.
except....
now 3 weeks later, this company has asked that we return the broken stand. had we not missed the last recycling pickup, this item would have already been recycled. luckily i have all the original shipping boxes and will be send ing it out today. i wonder what would have happened if it had been gone...

The monitor stand was delivered in a timely fashion and arrive in new condition. It does exactly what I wanted it to: Raise my monitor up to a good viewing height and provide under-monitor storage space. Both of these goals were achieved by this product. This product also looks well designed, and is a subtle addition to my workspace. I will likely buy one for my office as well.
