My mom has macular degeneration, making it hard for her to see small type. On her work computer, I had helped her decrease the screen resolution and make the fonts bigger, but there is only so much that you can do within the system. I bought this screen magnifier because another reviewer specifically mentioned that it helped a person with macular degeneration, so I jumped on it.

Installing the magnifier is simple enough, just remember that the bottom hooks rest against the bottom of the monitor. They don't clip onto anything. If they did have some sort of clip system, then that would hve been awesome. The magnifier sticks out about 3 inches from the screen.

Magnification was pretty good, the important thing is that my mom said that it helped a lot, which was my goal.

Shipping was SUPER FAST too! Put the order in on a Sunday night, received it on Tuesday.

It was a gift for a Co-Worker. She couldn't get it to fit securely and yet we measured her Monitor BEFORE we purchased it. And she said that it had a glare that she couldn't work with. I gave it to my roommate for her next Garage Sale.

Sent back item and I'm waiting to hear if it's been received before I reorder.
