Screw "Marduk".....this band annialates!, January 23, 2005

This particuler album by Impiety has been compared to Marduk, maybe because of it's speed, but there is NO comparison at all with this band from Singapore. Kaos Kommand 696 is an outright blasphemous feast of shredding guitar, lightning-fast blastbeats, unpredictable time and tempo changes, with strange arrangements and sudden "stops and starts" within the song structures. Unlike many black metal acts, the music on this album is not at all repetitive, and it totally KILLS! Listening to this makes you want to go out and commit some unnamed desecratory act on holy ground (hence the intro at the beginning of the CD). This is for die-hard heavy and black metal fans only, for only those would grasp the sheer brutality and crushing musicianship of this album. Also check out a band called "Ravager" (Mex), in which some of the members are a part of.
