This review is from: The Breaks (Audio CD)
This album is a must have for only two of the tracks-- "Ashley's Roachclip" by the Soulsearchers has been previously unavailable on a digital format. The only way to get the original is on vynil. It is, incidently the most "Groove Collective" sounding song from the 70's-- Very great instrumental! "Apache" will be familiar to any Tarentino fans out there. Otherwise, the album is strong but not inspiring.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Chillin', July 24, 2005
The DC go-go/funk vibe is hard to top and if your even a remote fan of this style music you'll be amazed at this double disc masterpiece. I admit that Kurtis Blow tends to kill the vibe for me on "I'm chillin" but aside from that track this album is solid from top to bottom. If your a funk or go-go fan don't pass this up if you can grab a copy you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best, August 13, 2002

This review is from: Kaoz Theory 1cd (Audio CD)
This is surely one of the best House-Albums. I bought this record about three years ago and I still love it. One the one hand he has the deep, bass-heavy tracks that will make you move to the dancefloor in no time, on the other there are more melodic, chilly kind of tracks that make you think about your life and the world (a bit philosphic I know) - like "Cognac & Cigars". The thread connecting the different tracks is the amount of work and love put in to them. You can just feel it in the songs!
