Very detailed oriented book. Great examples are used throughtout the book with good margins for making notes. I passed the series 7 on the first attempt.

I studied this manual and accompanying CD test questions as my exclusive source for the Series 7 and scored 95.2% on the exam (238/250), finishing in literally half the allotted time. The manual is long and boring, but once you've read thru it, focus on the 3000+ test questions on the CD. These have fairly good explanatory discussion, and on the actual test many of the questions were identical to ones on the CD, and generally much easier. The "as new" price for the material seems high -- I recommend a used manual/CD instead. The real value of the package is in reviewing the test questions on the CD.
